THE Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo is gearing up for the season with the highly anticipated reopening of the Zoo Gift Shop and Café on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Visitors can look forward to a refreshed shopping and dining experience, all while supporting the zoo’s conservation and education efforts.
A Shopping Experience That Gives Back
Located in the Zoo Admissions building, the Zoo Gift Shop offers a wide selection of toys, puzzles, games, and plush items inspired by the wildlife that calls the zoo home. Every purchase made at the gift shop directly supports the zoo’s conservation, research, education, and enrichment programs. Additionally, the shop serves as a convenient location to purchase or renew a Zoo Season Pass, which grants unlimited visits and exclusive benefits, including a 10% discount on all store purchases.
Sustainable Dining at the Zoo Café
Operated by the Saskatoon Zoo Society, the Zoo Café will also open its doors for the season on April 1. Situated near the Small Mammal House, the newly remodeled café incorporates sustainable practices, including the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems.
The expanded menu will feature fresh food options, such as salads, sandwiches, and fruit cups, catering to a variety of dietary preferences. In alignment with its sustainability goals, the café has transitioned to recyclable and compostable serving items, reducing waste and minimizing its environmental footprint. Proceeds from the café directly support the zoo’s education programs.
