SOMETIMES, life can feel like a terrible storm. Life can be like a betrayal too. And it can draw you to the edge of the world and tempt you to quit. Moments you feel consumed and swallowed; that’s life. Maybe you’re facing a mountain of bills, debts, a broken relationship, a health scare, or just the weight of everyday stress. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, like you’re carrying the world on your shoulders, estimated weight – 10,000kg! But here’s the truth about it all: there’s power in surrendering everything to God. Yes, surrendering everything!
God sees what you’re going through in your life at the moment. God is close by and He hears your groaning – Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1). On your part, it’s not about giving up; it’s about trusting that God can handle what you can’t. It’s about believing in Him who created the universe, who parted seas, and who raised the dead. God is not just capable; He’s willing to lift your burden and blow to your side the soothing wind of relief and comfort. All you have to do is surrender everything in His mighty hands.

Then you say; ‘But I’ve been going through it all alone a long time and God is nowhere in sight.”
Yes, sometimes, it feels like He’s taking forever. But here’s the thing: God doesn’t always work on our timeline, yet, His timing is perfect. Mary and Martha’s situation in the bible explains it.
When Lazarus was sick, his sisters, Mary and Martha, sent for Jesus. They knew He could heal their brother. But Jesus didn’t come right away. In fact, He waited until Lazarus had died. By the time He showed up, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. The sisters were heartbroken, perhaps, thinking Jesus had let them down. But Jesus had a bigger plan. He didn’t just heal Lazarus, he raised him from the dead. What looked like a delay turned out to be a delay for a miracle. That’s how God works. He’s not just fixing problems; He’s creating testimonies to go with them.
Your struggle?
It’s not the end of your story. It’s just a chapter. And if you trust Him, He’ll turn your situation into something beautiful.

But I understand. Trusting God isn’t always easy and it’s hard to let go of control. It’s hard to wait when you want answers now. That’s where faith comes in. Faith isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about trusting the One who does. It’s about saying, “God, I don’t understand this, but I trust You.”
Whatever you’re facing today, surrender everything into God’s hands. Pray about it. Cry about it if you need to. But then, commit yourself totally into trusting Him to fix it. Stop carrying the weight of it. Let Him bear that responsibility. He’s not surprised by your situation, and He’s not overwhelmed by it. He can turn your mess into a message and your test into a testimony.
Take it all to God in prayers…. Praise Him joyfully…. Read the bible daily for strength and His assurance…. And never attempt those three without concrete faith in Him! Trust God, and let Him do what only He can do.
