AS spring approaches, the City of Saskatoon has announced the closure of indoor rinks for public skating and Parent and Tot Skating for the season. Skaters now have a limited time to enjoy the ice before the scheduled end dates at various arenas across the city.
Archibald Arena: The final Public Skating session will take place on Sunday, March 16, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., while the last Parent and Tot Skating session will be held today, Wednesday, March 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Lions Arena will close its public sessions on Sunday, March 23, with skating available from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The final Parent and Tot Skating session at Lions Arena is scheduled for Friday, March 21, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Cosmo Arena will host its last Public Skating session on Sunday, March 16, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the final Parent and Tot Skating on Monday, March 17, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, ACT Arena will offer its last Public Skating session on Tuesday, March 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the final Parent and Tot Skating on Thursday, March 27, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
For those looking to rent ice time:
Lions Arena will be available for rentals from March 29 to April 18 while ACT Arena undergoes maintenance. Following this period, ACT Arena will remain open throughout the spring and summer for ice rentals. Those interested in bookings can contact the Allocations Office at 306-975-3366.
