Saskatoon Transit Invites Residents to Celebrate Workers

SASKATOON Transit cordially invites the people of Saskatoon to join them in celebrating Saskatoon Transit Worker Appreciation Day on March 18.

Transit Worker Appreciation Day is observed annually to recognize the dedication and hard work of Saskatoon transit employees who keep the city’s public transit system running smoothly and efficiently.

“Every day, transit workers ensure thousands of residents can travel safely and efficiently, regardless of weather conditions. From bus operators and maintenance crews to planners, administration, and customer service staff, each team member plays a vital role in keeping the city connected,” stated the Saskatoon Transit Management in a press release.

To honor these dedicated workers who help keep the city moving daily, Saskatoon Transit management encourage residents to show their gratitude through small acts of kindness—whether by saying thank you, writing kind messages, or sharing positive experiences on social media using the hashtag #ThanksTransit and tagging @stoontransit. Visitors to the Downtown Customer Service Centre can also leave messages of appreciation on the #ThanksTransit Poster.

While March 18 is a designated day to celebrate transit workers, Saskatoon Transit reminds everyone that appreciation and kindness make a difference year-round.
