Saskatoon Police Investigate Second Homicide of 2025

SASKATOON police have launched a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased man in an apartment complex on Embassy Drive.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Embassy Drive after receiving a report of a body found inside an apartment unit. Upon arrival, police located a 38-year-old man who was confirmed dead at the scene.

The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section is now leading the investigation, with support from the Forensic Identification Section and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim or the cause of death, as the investigation remains in its early stages.
