Missing Woman Located Safe, Say Saskatoon Police

THE Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) has confirmed that 27-year-old Unique Goforth, who was the subject of a missing persons investigation, has been located and found to be safe.

After Saskatoon Police Services issued a public appeal on Tuesday, April 22, seeking assistance in locating Goforth after she was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, April 21, in the 100 block of Hospital Drive . Authorities had expressed concern for her well-being, noting she may have been in a vulnerable state at the time of her disappearance.

Following an active investigation, SPS announced Wednesday morning that Goforth has been safely located.

“The Saskatoon Police Service wishes to thank members of the public and media for their attention and assistance in this matter,” the department stated in a brief news release.

Goforth’s disappearance had prompted concern from both police and community members, who were asked to remain alert and report any sightings or relevant information. Authorities have since deactivated the active search.
